Feasibility and business case for the new £14 million Bromsgrove Leisure Centre and successful operator procurement.
Our Brief: To provide business planning support for Bromsgrove Council’s major new leisure centre and management of the retendering of the Council’s leisure management contract.
Our Role: We worked closely with the Council’s officer team to provide feasibility and business planning advice on the new facility development. We also and managed the procurement of an operator for the new centre.
The Result: Our business planning advice was integral to the development of the new £14 million Bromsgrove Leisure Centre, which opened in 2018. It provides a significantly enhanced leisure experience for residents. Our role on the procurement of a new leisure management contract successfully secured a significantly improved financial position required to support capital investment in the project. The project was also successful in securing capital investment from Sport England.
