The brief:
Complete a feasibility study for London hosting the 2017 World Athletics Championships.
Our role:
Members of the TSC team carried out a technical analysis of the Olympic Stadium, developed budgets, evaluated the public-sector subsidy required, created an economic, sporting and social-impacts analysis, and assessed London’s selection prospects.
The result:
We were retained by UK Athletics to support their successful bid, taking the lead on event budget development and testing a range of alternative income scenarios.
