World leading insurer and integrated financial services providers, Allianz is today announced as the latest national partner of the World Para Athletics Championships which take place at the London Stadium from 14 to 23 July.
The brand name, Allianz, will appear on every athlete’s bib during the Championships as part of the agreement. Beyond that both partners are exploiting their relationship to create more attention and awareness about Para sport.

Allianz is already a well-established supporter of the Paralympic Movement, having become the first international partner of the International Paralympic Committee in 2006. In partnership with World Para Athletics, Allianz uses its global brand and trusted reputation to positively impact the regional, national, and international competitions that occur every year. This valuable partnership allows Allianz to support excellence in disability sports year-round.

This year will bring together more than 3000 world-class athletes from more than 200 countries, who will compete in 30 sessions across 20 jam-packed and action-fuelled days as both the World Para Athletics Championships (14-23 July) and IAAF World Championships London 2017 (04-13 August) are hosted in London this summer.
