The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has renewed its two major media rights partnerships with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and IMG for a further eight years.

Both long-standing deals will now run to the end of 2022, with ‘markedly increased coverage’ and a guaranteed minimum financial return of ‘an undisclosed eight-figure sum’ going to the FEI after a competitive bidding process.

The EBU’s package includes broadcast rights to the FEI’s flagship events, including the 2018 and 2022 editions of the World Equestrian Games, four editions of the biennial European Championships, and the annual FEI World Cup Finals through to the 2018/19 season.
