The committee for Madrid’s bid to host the 2020 Olympic Games, has defended its planned campaign expenditure.
Alejandro Blanco, the president of the Spanish Olympic Committee and head of Madrid 2020, admitted that the “current moments are the most adverse in a long time,” but argued that “next to a difficulty, there is always an opportunity.”
