Over the judging period, Manchester has hosted a number of elite sports events including the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, the 9th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), the Hi-Tec World Squash Championships, the Paralympic World Cup, the BUPA Great Manchester Run and the UEFA Cup Final.
