Matt Wilson has been promoted to Managing Director at The Sports Consultancy following considerable financial growth in the last 12 months.
CEO and Founder of The Sports Consultancy, Angus Buchanan made the announcement to staff on Friday: “It gives me great pleasure to announce Matt’s promotion to Managing Director. This coincides with Matt’s 10 year anniversary at TSC.”
Since joining in 2014 from Deloitte, Wilson has been instrumental in driving the growth of The Sports Consultancy, including two office moves.
“Matt has helped develop our overarching Consulting offering into a large and sophisticated division with strategic, commercial and event pillars which are ably led by each of our Directors.” Added Buchanan.
Wilson was thrilled by the promotion: “I am absolutely delighted to take on the responsibilities of my new role as Managing Director of TSC, building upon the exceptional achievements of the team so far, and I am excited about the future.”
In his new role, Wilson will continue to oversee Consulting and will join Buchanan and the rest of senior leadership team to forge ahead with further ambitious plans and initiatives as the company continues its rapid growth and transformation.
