May 2014 will see top cyclists from around the world take on Great Britain’s Olympic heroines and rising stars in The Women’s Tour – a new elite cycling stage race across the south east of England. As well as elite racing each day, the event – taking place over five days in May – will see a package of associated activities at each start and finish town inspiring women and their families to lead a healthier lifestyle and get involved in the fastest growing sport in UK. The race will be televised each day on national TV and also transmitted in countries across the world. The Women’s Tour will be organised by SweetSpot Group, the current organisers and promoters of The Tour of Britain, the UK’s largest men’s cycling race, and joint organisers of Prudential RideLondon.
