Technogym will supply athlete training facilities with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, providing first-class training facilities for competitors both in the build-up and during the Summer of World Athletics at the London Stadium. All athletes and their coaching teams will have access to the fully-branded equipment.

Niels de Vos, Championship Director for London 2017, said “Technogym has an excellent record of supplying high-class gym and fitness equipment at major international sporting events so we are delighted to have them on board. First rate facilities are vital to an athlete’s preparation and recovery and we want all athletes in London this summer to be fit and well before, during and after the Championships. I am really looking forward to seeing the Technogym facilities installed and in use.”

Steve Barton, Managing Director for Technogym UK, added: “We are incredibly proud to have been selected as the national supplier for the Championships. Through our long-standing associations with elite sport and our dedicated Research and Development team, we are able to create some of the most advanced equipment and technology for the world’s top athletes. We look forward to seeing the athletes using our equipment throughout the Championships.”

The Summer of World Athletics will bring together more than 3000 world-class athletes from more than 200 countries, who will compete in 30 sessions across 20 jam-packed and action-fueled days as both the World Para Athletics Championships (14-23 July) and IAAF World Championships London 2017 (4-13 August) are hosted in London this summer.
