The Sports Consultancy has appointed Sharon Bayton as Associate Director within its Major Events and Venues team. Sharon’s appointment will add considerable experience to The Sports Consultancy’s team.
Sharon is a qualified planner and a highly respected expert on strategic planning for sport and leisure in the UK. During a career spanning 30 years she has worked on a wide range of projects and programmes across the UK. She began her leisure consultancy career with Strategic Leisure in 1994, where she was one of the pioneering members of the business. In 2001 she founded Capita Symonds Sport & Leisure Consulting which grew to become one of the leading consultancies in the industry. More recently Sharon has worked as a freelance planning and leisure consultant, working on a wide range of projects for a number of consultancy businesses.
