Thomas Cook Sport, the official travel partner of nine Premier League Football Clubs, has announced plans to offer its ‘Match Break’ product to football fans globally through the appointment of 39 sales agents.

With recent stats from VisitBritain revealing that nearly a million overseas visitors came to the UK last year to watch a game of football, spending £706million in the process, it further demonstrates the enormous value of the Premier League to both the private and public sector.

Mark Di-Toro, Senior Press Officer, VisitBritain said: “The Premier League is known as the most international and exciting league in the world and is a vital tool in enticing visitors at traditionally quieter periods. It also helps international fans explore more than just London – boosting the regional tourist economy.”
