Paula Radcliffe hinted yesterday that when she retires from competitive running she wants to establish an altitude training camp in Southern France for endurance sportsmen and women preparing for major international sporting events. Radcliffe’s thoughts co-incide with UK Athletics’ announcement last night of a further shake-up of the British athletics by establishing an advisory group consisting of Olympic medallists and other Olympians.
