TSC in the Middle East 

We have an increasing presence in the Middle East with offices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. We serve a diverse and high-profile client base, including major events, national sports federations, public sector organizations, rights holders, and leading brands. The region is a priority investment and growth market for TSC, particularly across investment advisory, venue development, and major event strategy and delivery. 

This role will play a critical and strategic part in realizing these ambitions — driving our delivery capability, development on our facilities & venues practise, and helping us scale our presence and influence across the region. You will be central to shaping how we serve our clients in one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving sports and major events markets in the world. 

Your role 

As Manager – Strategic Bids & Thought Leadership, you will play a critical role in increasing our visibility and win rate across strategic bids and tenders in the GCC. You will take ownership of identifying, tracking, and coordinating key RFPs and tenders, while enhancing our market positioning through content-led marketing and thought leadership. 

This is not a traditional sales role. It is a strategic and execution-focused position—ensuring we receive, respond to, and win more high-quality opportunities. You will lead the development of impactful marketing collateral, manage relationships with conference platforms and media, and ensure a strong, consistent TSC presence across all touchpoints. 

Your roles and responsibilities  

Bid & Proposal Leadership 

  • Monitor, manage, and respond to RFPs, EOIs, and tenders across KSA, UAE, Qatar, and other GCC markets using procurement platforms and internal networks. 
  • Lead end-to-end development of proposals, including structure, content development, input coordination, CVs, case studies, and timelines. 
  • Maintain and evolve a robust knowledge base of boilerplate content, methodologies, and credentials for rapid deployment. 
  • Analyse bid outcomes and feedback to improve quality and win rates over time. 

Strategic Marketing & Positioning 

  • Create impactful marketing and capability content (one-pagers, brochures, decks, case studies, credentials). 
  • Lead content-led marketing initiatives (e.g. blogs, newsletters, insight reports) aligned to TSC’s consulting themes. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date presence of TSC on all relevant procurement and vendor registration portals. 
  • Build relationships with key conference platforms (e.g. Sport Industry Forum, government events) to secure speaking, panel, and branding opportunities. 

Thought Leadership & Campaigns 

  • Coordinate the production of thought leadership and insight campaigns with internal consultants and SMEs. 
  • Work closely with TSC’s UK marketing and consulting teams to ensure global consistency and regional relevance. 
  • Track sector trends, reforms, and policies to position TSC in emerging areas of opportunity. 

Client Engagement Support 

  • Support identification of key client decision-makers and upcoming projects with consulting leads and the Executive Director. 
  • Assist in development of bespoke pitch decks, follow-up materials, and leave-behinds. 
  • Maintain a central CRM and resource library tracking proposals, clients, and business development activity.

Your skills and experience 

  • Experience: 5+ years in strategic bids, proposal development, consulting marketing, or procurement in the Gulf region. 
  • Writing & Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills. 
  • Project Management: Organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple concurrent bids and campaigns. 
  • Sector Exposure: Familiarity with sports, major events, and professional services. 
  • Technical Tools: Proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Word), Canva or Adobe Creative tools, CRM basics. 
  • Languages: Fluency in English & Arabic is a strong advantage. 
  • Mindset: Strategic, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable in a lean, entrepreneurial team environment.
