National law firm Irwin Mitchell has been announced as the official provider of legal services for the World Para Athletics Championships, which takes place at the London Stadium in almost two month’s time.

The World Para Athletics Championships kick off the Summer of World Athletics and the biggest sporting occasion in the world in 2017 from 14 July and Irwin Mitchell will provide legal support for the event. 

With more than 2,500 employees and 16 offices across the UK, Irwin Mitchell provide a wide range of private client and business legal services to private individuals, businesses, charities, institutions and organisations. 

Irwin Mitchell support disability sport through its ‘Don’t Quit, Do It’ campaign which highlights the role sport can play in helping people recover from serious injuries and other traumas in their lives. They also sponsor multiple five-time Paralympic and seven-time world champion Hannah Cockroft MBE.

The biggest event to be staged at the London Stadium since the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games – it is the first time both the World Para Athletics Championships and IAAF World Championships have been held in the same city in the same year.
