One of the nation’s oldest and most loved soft drinks manufacturer’s, A.G. Barr has been announced as a National Supplier of the World Para Athletics Championships and the IAAF World Championships.
Already contracted to supply Strathmore water, A.G. Barr will be supplying soft drinks to athletes, coaches, officials, spectators and the workforce across both Championships which take place in the London Stadium this summer.
A.G. Barr has been in the business of quenching the nation’s thirst since 1875, creating and selling some of the UK’s best-loved soft drinks. The deal will see A.G. Barr’s portfolio of brands – including IRN-BRU, Scotland’s other national drink, IRN-BRU XTRA, Barr Cola, Barr Lemonade, Rubicon and Rubicon Simply – available for consumers to enjoy during the event.

This year will bring together more than 3000 world-class athletes from more than 200 countries, who will compete in 30 sessions across 20 jam-packed and action-fueled days as both the World Para Athletics Championships (14-23 July) and IAAF World Championships London 2017 (04-13 August) are hosted in London this summer.
