Matt leads the Consulting team at The Sports Consultancy. He works with rights holders, cities and brands to optimise their events, commercial strategies, asset portfolios and hosting relationships. His rights holder and event clients include Formula 1, World Rugby, FIA, World Athletics, ICC, NFL, FIBA, FEI, The Ocean Race, European Professional Club Rugby, Formula E, Goodwood, BIE, The Ryder Cup, Rugby League World Cup 2021, Interkultur, Red Bull and Nitro World Games. His national, regional and city government clients include Mayor of London, Government of Abu Dhabi, Government of Oman, EventFlanders, Goteborg & Co, City of Manchester, City of Barcelona, Government of Dubai and London & Partners.

Prior to joining The Sports Consultancy, Matt spent 11 years with Deloitte, where he delivered transformation projects for some of their largest clients across Europe, North America and the Middle East. Matt also spent 2 years with LOCOG, the organising committee for London 2012, where he took a lead role in designing and delivering the operational readiness integration programme.
