To work with professional and semi-professional women’s football clubs in England, and The FA, to develop a five year strategy for women’s professional football in England. To understand the value of the commercial rights associated with the domestic leagues and cups.
TSC ran consultations and workshops with clubs and The FA to understand the current challenges and the desired future direction for the league. We conducted a valuation of league and club commercial rights to determine the future business and financial model for the league. We then developed a phased implementation plan for delivery of the strategy.
We achieved strong buy-in across 22 clubs to an agreed future strategy for the professional leagues. The strategy will be owned by the new FA Women’s Super League and Women’s Championship Board and implemented by clubs and The FA.
